Daiwa House Industry launches earthquake relief for Kumamoto
Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. has launched a housing reconstruction consultation service to support victims of the Reiwa 8 Kumamoto Earthquake. The initiative, effective September 3, 2026, provides guidance on new construction, rebuilding, and renovations.
To further assist recovery, the company plans to open a Housing Reconstruction Consultation Center in Uki City, Kumamoto Prefecture, on November 1, 2026. Additionally, the company is offering six specific detached housing products at special reconstruction support prices for individuals who have obtained disaster victim certificates.
In terms of immediate relief, the Daiwa House Group has distributed essential supplies, including approximately 30,000 bottles of water, 15,000 meals, 13,000 portable toilets, and 300 blue sheets. The group is also coordinating donations through the NPO Japan Platform, combining employee contributions with corporate matching gifts.
