Dalaroo Metals identifies four new rare earth targets in Greenland's Blue Lagoon project

Dalaroo Metals (ASX:DAL) has finished its largest field program to date at the Blue Lagoon rare‑earth project in southern Greenland, converting the site from an early‑stage concept into a well‑defined regional system. The 2026 campaign collected more than 200 geological, rock‑chip, stream‑sediment and surface samples and employed detailed mapping, ground‑penetrating radar, bathymetric surveys and Van Veen sediment grabs.

The work uncovered four new rare‑earth element prospects – Qilluakitsoq, Quernertullip, Taseq and the newly defined Blue Lagoon South – expanding the company’s prospective footprint by about 34 km². Mapping revealed a complex, multi‑phase alkaline intrusive system with pegmatites, granites and eudialyte‑like mineral occurrences that host rare‑earth minerals. CEO John Morgan said the program marks a “significant milestone” and that the new targets will soon be sent for laboratory analysis ahead of future drilling.

The new Blue Lagoon South target lies adjacent to Amaroq Minerals’ Ilua rare‑earth discovery, highlighting the growing importance of southern Greenland’s Gardar Alkaline Province for critical mineral supplies.
