Dalekovod and Končar drive strong gains on Zagreb Stock Exchange
The shortened trading week on the Zagreb Stock Exchange saw a sharp rise in activity, with overall book‑order volume up 68 % and ETF turnover up 82 %. Major indices climbed about two percent, with the construction‑sector index CROBEXkonstrukt gaining nearly four percent.
Dalekovod posted the biggest price increase, up 11.5 % to €14.5, while Končar remained the most traded stock with €12.6 million in turnover, double the previous week’s level. Other active securities included AD Plastika, Valamar Riviera and HT. The CROBEX family of indices – CROBEX, CROBEX10 and their total‑return variants – rose between 2 % and 2.8 %. The market’s total capitalisation stayed roughly unchanged, while ETF capitalisation edged up 0.81 %.
Company news highlighted Dalekovod’s partnership in the first phase of the USD 50 billion Pantheon project and Končar’s continued focus on EU markets and potential exposure to U.S. grid investments.
