Dalia Friščić crowned Miss Međimurje, to compete at Miss Croatia for Miss World

The Štrigove Nights festival in Štrigova, Croatia hosted the Miss Međimurje pageant, selecting a representative for the 31st Miss Croatia for Miss World competition. Five young women presented themselves before a live audience and a jury, with television presenter Davor Garić emceeing and the BOSS band providing music.

Seventeen‑year‑old Dalia Friščić from Donji Vidovec won the crown, succeeding last year’s titleholder Laura Dasović. She earned the right to represent the Međimurje county at the national Miss Croatia for Miss World contest, where the winner will represent Croatia at the global Miss World pageant. Petra Antolović was named first runner‑up.

Friščić is also the national champion in athletics, currently training in Vienna while attending a sports gymnasium. She speaks English, German and French, has volunteered with the Red Cross in Austria, and has expressed a personal ambition to reach the Olympic Games. The pageant highlighted both beauty and personal development, emphasizing education and humanitarian values.
