Croatian regional pageant contests

In July 2026, the Štrigove Nights festival in Štrigova hosted the Miss Međimurje competition, where 17‑year‑old Dalia Friščić was crowned and earned the right to represent Međimurje county at the upcoming Miss Croatia for Miss World national contest. Her victory highlighted a blend of beauty, athletic achievement and community service.

A week later, similar regional contests were held in other parts of Croatia. At Lux Beach Bar in Istria, 17‑year‑old Matea Krt won the Miss Istria County title, securing a place in the same national Miss Croatia competition. In Vukovar‑Srijem, farmer Marija Kalistović was named the winner of the 26th "Most Proud Croatian Rural Woman" contest, emphasizing traditional agriculture and local values. These events together illustrate the ongoing cycle of local pageants across Croatian counties selecting representatives for the national Miss Croatia stage while also celebrating regional cultural and rural achievements.
