Dalibor Kitanoviq apologizes after controversial Ratko Mladić post

Dalibor Kitanoviq, Director of the Agency for the Realization of Community Rights, has deleted a social media post and issued an apology following backlash over the glorification of convicted war criminal Ratko Mladić. The post featured a photograph of Mladić with Serbian historical figures, including Drazha Mihajlović. Kitanoviq apologized to Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and various ministers, stating he did not intend to offend any ethnic community or religion, though he maintained he would not be held responsible for how others manipulate his words.

The incident has triggered political tension within the government. The BDI party issued an ultimatum to the VLEN party, criticizing their perceived silence regarding the actions of Ivan Stoilkovjić. BDI claimed that the glorification of war criminals contradicts European values, a sentiment echoed by the European Union. BDI further accused VLEN of protecting individuals associated with the 'Serbian world' project and failing to denounce controversial statements made by Stoilkovjić.
