Dana White’s Contender Series returns for tenth season

The tenth season of Dana White’s Contender Series (DWCS) is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. The ten-week program features five fights per episode, where mixed martial arts fighters compete for the opportunity to sign a contract with the UFC.

To be selected, fighters must possess impressive records and have demonstrated high-level performance in other promotions. Beyond winning, contestants must provide entertainment; UFC President Dana White has previously signed fighters who did not win their bouts if they provided a high level of spectacle. Past successful alumni from the series include Sean O’Malley, Alex Pereira, and Jamahal Hill.

The 2026 season includes thirteen Latin American representatives from Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, and Bolivia. In Latin America, the series will be broadcast exclusively on Paramount+, while in Spain, it will be available via Eurosport.
