Danantara launches 200,000‑unit housing expo offering 1% down payment
Indonesia's Danantara (Badan Pengelola Investasi Daya Anagata Nusantara) announced an integrated housing and financing ecosystem aimed at first‑time buyers, especially Generation Z. The company will present more than 200,000 housing options for low‑ and non‑low‑income buyers at the Danantara Housing Expo 2026, scheduled for 27‑30 August at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE) in PIK, Jakarta.
The expo will allow visitors to compare projects and obtain financing simulations from member banks of the Himpunan Bank Milik Negara (Himbara) and Islamic banks. Danantara plans to offer down payments as low as 1%, interest margins starting at 2.75%, loan tenors up to 30 years and staged‑payment schemes. CEO Rosan Roeslani said the initiative responds to data showing that about 81 million Indonesian youths lacked their own home in 2025 and that roughly 30 % of Gen Z workers have side‑jobs, indicating diverse income streams.
The program aims to make home ownership more affordable and transparent for young Indonesians by consolidating housing choices and financing options in a single venue.
