Daniel Bîrligea scores twice for Frosinone in Serie A victory

Romanian striker Daniel Bîrligea scored his first two goals in Serie A during Frosinone’s 5-1 victory over Lecce. Introduced as a substitute in the 70th minute, Bîrligea scored in the 72nd minute and again during stoppage time in the 90+4 minute.

Following the match, Bîrligea credited the team’s success to the rigorous training methods of coach Massimiliano Alvini, noting that the squad “cries at training and smiles during matches.” The performance earned him high ratings from Italian media, including an 8/10 from Eurosport and TMW.

Frosinone currently sits in 6th place in Serie A with 17 points after nine matches. Bîrligea joined the club on loan from FCSB this summer for 1.5 million euros, with a potential permanent transfer clause valued at an additional 3.5 million euros.
