Expo Catamarca 2026 to showcase regional production and mining

The Expo Catamarca 2026 is scheduled to take place from September 10 to 12 at the Predio Ferial Catamarca. Organized by the Federación Económica de Catamarca (FEC) in collaboration with the provincial government, the event aims to position the province as a productive and business hub under the theme ‘Connecting Regions, Generating Future.’

The exhibition will feature specialized pavilions for mining, industry, logistics, tourism, and regional economies. Key activities include business rounds designed to connect local SMEs and entrepreneurs with national and international buyers, as well as a binational integration panel focused on trade with Chile via the San Francisco Pass.

National Secretary of Tourism, Environment, and Sports Daniel Scioli is confirmed to attend, a move viewed by local economic leaders as a sign of political and economic support for the region. The agenda also includes conferences on macroeconomics, artificial intelligence, and the presentation of the first Open Geological-Mining Data System of Catamarca.
