Daniele Luchetti film Noi, un po’ meglio to debut on Netflix

Director Daniele Luchetti’s new sentimental comedy, ‘Noi, un po’ meglio’, is scheduled for an exclusive release on Netflix on October 29, 2026. The film, produced by Lucky Red, follows its premiere at the Rome Film Fest in the Grand Public section.

The story centers on the relationship between Simone, played by Elio Germano, and Lucia, played by Maria Chiara Giannetta. Simone is a family-oriented man, while Lucia is an independent woman who has historically opposed motherhood. The narrative tension shifts when the couple considers adoption, forcing them to renegotiate their life dynamics.

Luchetti stated that his goal with this project was to seek empathy from the audience by portraying characters that feel relatable and human, rather than creating conflict or relying on extreme drama. The film explores themes of everyday negotiations, shared silences, and the complexities of modern relationships.
