Release of Daniele Luchetti film Noi, un po’ meglio

Overview

The romantic comedy ‘Noi, un po’ meglio’, directed by Daniele Luchetti and produced by Lucky Red, is scheduled for an exclusive release on Netflix on October 29, 2026. The film premiered its trailer at the Rome Film Festival in the Grand Public section.

Starring Elio Germano and Maria Chiara Giannetta, the story follows Simone, a firefighter with strong family values, and Lucia, an independent nurse who has traditionally opposed motherhood. The plot explores the complexities of their relationship as they navigate the emotional shifts and life renegotiations brought about by their decision to adopt a child.

Luchetti stated that the film aims to move away from clichés regarding family and adoption, focusing on how couples adapt to non-traditional models of child-rearing. The production seeks to portray human emotions and the search for motherhood through everyday negotiations and connection rather than relying on extreme drama.
