15-year-old Danish girl found alive in Hungary

A 15‑year‑old girl from Hedensted, Denmark, disappeared on a Tuesday morning and was missing for more than two days. Danish police, including Sydøstjyllands Politi, coordinated with Hungarian police and Europol in an international search. On Thursday evening the girl was located alive in Hungary, unharmed, after cooperation among the three agencies. Danish vice‑police inspector Christian Skyt said, “We are very relieved that the missing girl has been found alive.”

The investigation continues to determine whether a criminal act was involved, and authorities are working to return the teenager safely to Denmark. No further details about the circumstances of her disappearance have been released pending the ongoing inquiry.
