Danny Armstrong seeks Scotland call-up after strong Dinamo form

Dinamo forward Danny Armstrong has expressed his desire to earn a call-up to the Scotland national team following his strong performance in the Romanian SuperLiga. Armstrong has recorded 4 goals and 10 assists in 11 matches this season, helping Dinamo maintain a top position in the league.

While Armstrong stated he will focus on his club performance and hopes his continued form will lead to a selection, the omission has sparked debate. Former Romanian international Basarab Panduru suggested that Scotland manager Sebastien Pocognoli may be overlooking Armstrong due to the perceived lower quality of the Romanian championship. These comments have drawn attention from Scottish media outlets, such as the Daily Record, regarding potential snobbery in football selection processes.
