Danny Armstrong performance at Dinamo București

Danny Armstrong, a British forward playing for Dinamo București in the Romanian SuperLiga, has emerged as a key performer for the club. Following a strong start to the season with 4 goals and 10 assists in 11 matches, Armstrong expressed his desire to earn a call-up to the Scotland national team.

His performance has sparked debate regarding football selection processes, with some suggesting that the perceived lower quality of the Romanian championship might influence national team managers. Armstrong has defended the league, comparing its standard to the Scottish league.

As Armstrong continues to excel, having reached 5 goals and 10 assists in 12 matches, the club is managing other squad changes. This includes potential departure talks for Adrian Mazilu, who may seek more playing time during the winter transfer window due to the high level of competition within the team. Mazilu’s agent, Giovanni Becali, indicated that the 21-year-old former Brighton player will likely seek a move to secure more minutes following Armstrong’s emergence as an undisputed starter. Armstrong has expressed high satisfaction with his move, specifically praising the intense passion of the club’s supporters.
