Dapper Damm denies royalty and contract allegations from former artists

Music executive Dapper Damm has responded to allegations of financial misconduct and unpaid royalties raised by several former artists, including Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi, and T. I Blaze.

Shallipopi has accused Dapper of withholding royalty income from 46 songs and alleged that the executive transferred artist catalogues to Virgin Music Group, collecting proceeds without proper accounting. Additionally, Shallipopi claimed that a signature was forged on a 10-year distribution agreement. T. I Blaze has also raised concerns regarding financial transparency and the tracking of earnings since parting ways with Dapper Entertainment.

Dapper Damm denied the allegations of wrongdoing, stating on X that he has “nothing to hide” and that relevant financial records have been submitted to the appropriate authorities. He accused the musicians of spreading “false narratives” and noted that the ongoing legal or official process would establish the truth.
