Dark Matter Season 2 Episode 7 explores multiverse consequences

The seventh episode of Dark Matter Season 2, titled “The Pyramid,” explores the consequences of traveling through the Box and the resulting impact on different realities.

In one storyline, Amanda and Ryan are detained by authorities, including the CDC and the Great Lakes National Guard, after being identified as potential sources of the Black Iris Plague. This disease, known as Hema Aetho 26, has devastated their current reality. Officials believe the travelers' presence might hold the key to a cure, turning their survival into a liability. During an escape attempt facilitated by a version of Leighton, Amanda is struck by a dart, leaving her condition uncertain.

In another reality, Jason1 has been working to uncouple the Box from the multiverse. Blair2 reveals her true identity to him, and the two encounter a version of Leighton. Meanwhile, Charlie enters the Box following a conversation with Jason1 regarding a meeting with a version of Max.
