The second season of the Apple TV multiverse thriller, Dark Matter, is currently releasing new episodes. The second episode, titled “A Perfect World,” focuses on the partnership between characters Amanda Lucas and Ryan Holder as they navigate the multiverse in search of a safe reality.

Season 2 expands the narrative beyond the scope of Blake Crouch’s original novel, transitioning from a personal escape story into a broader corporate conspiracy thriller. While the first season focused on Jason Dessen’s journey, the new season explores the wider implications of the Box and the existential dread caused by its existence. The 10-episode season is scheduled to release weekly on Fridays through October 30.
