Darko Jorgić eliminated in WTT Europe Smash semifinals

Slovenian table tennis player Darko Jorgić was eliminated in the semifinals of the WTT Europe Smash tournament in Malmö, Sweden. Jorgić lost his match against France's Felix Lebrun with a score of 0:4 (-5, -5, -8, -5).

Lebrun, the 19-year-old ranked fifth in the world by the ITTF, maintained dominance over the 28-year-old Jorgić, who is currently ranked 15th. This marks the fifth time Lebrun has defeated Jorgić in their head-to-head matchups. Following his victory, Lebrun advanced to face Japan's Tomokazu Harimoto in the final.

Prior to his semifinal exit, Jorgić secured victories against Deni Kožul, Cedric Nuytinck, Dimitri Ovcharov, and Omar Asarja. Jorgić and Kožul also competed together in the doubles category, where they were defeated by the Swedish pair Kristian Karlsson and Anton Källberg.
