Dash Énergies launches first service station in Douala

Dash Énergies, a group led by entrepreneur Bony Dashaco, has officially entered the Cameroonian petroleum downstream market with the inauguration of its first service station in the Akwa district of Douala. The facility, located at the ‘2 Églises’ site, was established on a rehabilitated former MRS station.

The new infrastructure features a total storage capacity of 45,000 liters, including 30,000 liters for Super gasoline, 15,000 liters for diesel, and 5,000 liters for kerosene. The inclusion of kerosene is intended to meet local market demand for household lighting and energy.

The company has announced an ambitious expansion strategy, aiming to open five stations by the end of 2026 and reaching a goal of 100 stations by September 2028. Local authorities noted that this private Cameroonian investment serves as a significant signal for modernization within the country's strategic energy sector.
