Dat Bike expands electric motorcycle market with ERA model
Vietnamese electric motorcycle brand Dat Bike has introduced the ERA model, featuring integrated charging technology designed to increase user autonomy. Unlike traditional electric vehicles that require external chargers, the ERA allows users to plug directly into standard 220V domestic power outlets via a cable located within the vehicle. The system offers three charging modes: Standard (3.5 hours), Fast Charge (2 hours 15 minutes), and Boost Charge, which provides 30km of range in 15 minutes.
Dat Bike's integrated charging solution received the ‘Green Transition Promotion Solution’ award at the Better Choice Awards 2026. In terms of business expansion, the company reported reaching 60 stores nationwide and securing approximately 20,000 orders for the ERA model. Additionally, Dat Bike has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Toshiba Electronics Asia (Singapore) to collaborate on developing electronic and electrical platforms for current and future electric motorcycle models, combining Dat Bike's product development with Toshiba's expertise in semiconductors and microcircuits.
