Dat Bike ERA electric motorcycle launch and expansion

Overview

Vietnamese electric motorcycle manufacturer Dat Bike has launched the ERA model, which features integrated charging technology allowing users to plug directly into standard 220V domestic power outlets. The vehicle offers multiple charging modes, including a ‘Boost Charge’ that provides 30km of range in 15 minutes.

As of October 2026, the company reported approximately 20,000 orders for the ERA model since its launch in May 2026. The ERA includes a 5 kW motor developed with Japan’s FCC and a 4.3 kWh battery with a maximum range of 200 km. The product maintains a 90% localization rate.

To support future development, Dat Bike has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Toshiba Electronics Asia to collaborate on electronic and electrical platforms. The company has also expanded its physical presence to 60 stores nationwide and received the ‘Green Transition Promotion Solution’ award at the Better Choice Awards 2026.
