Data 593 launched to centralize public records in Ecuador

The National Directorate of Public Records (DINARP) has introduced Data 593, a mobile application designed to centralize various public records linked to a citizen's identity. Part of the National System of Public Records (SINARP), the tool was presented on September 1, 2026.

In its initial phase, the application connects data from at least ten state institutions, including the Civil Registry, the National Transit Agency (ANT), the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS), the National Electoral Council (CNE), the Internal Revenue Service (SRI), and the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INEC). It also incorporates information from the ministries of Labor, Education, Public Health, and Production.

Users can consult documents such as identity cards, voting certificates, driver's licenses, academic degrees, IESS labor history, and tax information. The application does not require manual linking of documents; instead, it retrieves information already associated with the user's ID number following a registration process that includes facial identity validation.
