David Raya wins Premier League Save of the Month

Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has been awarded the Premier League Save of the Month for September. The recognition follows his decisive penalty save during Arsenal’s 2-0 victory against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on September 12.

During the match, Raya stopped a spot-kick from Sunderland midfielder Enzo Le Fee to maintain a goalless scoreline. This intervention preceded goals from Bruno Guimaraes and Bukayo Saka, which secured the win and supported Arsenal’s title defence. The award was determined through a combination of supporter votes and a panel of football experts. This marks the fourth time the 31-year-old has received the monthly honor.
