David Rossi death inquiry to begin forensic window fall reconstruction

The parliamentary commission investigating the death of David Rossi has scheduled technical forensic operations to begin on September 28. These operations, held at a gym in Foro Italico, aim to reconstruct the circumstances of Rossi’s fall from a window at Palazzo Salimbeni on March 6, 2013.

Experts, including doctors Robbi Manghi and Marco Nigrisoli, along with Lieutenant Colonel Adolfo Gregori of the RIS and Rome fire department personnel, will conduct the investigation. The technical tests will utilize both a mannequin and an athlete with a similar physique to the former MPS Head of Communications to determine how Rossi ended up outside the window and whether he was conscious at the time.

In recent developments, the commission heard testimony from justice collaborator Giuseppe Giglio, who was involved in Operation 'Aemilia'. Commission President Gianluca Vinci expressed satisfaction with the hearing, which was held behind closed doors. The inquiry also plans to hear from Antonio Muto next week to clarify previous claims regarding the case.
