Medical experts noted that Rossi was conscious during the encounter and likely attempted to defend himself. These results support the commission’s interim report from March, which officially ruled out suicide. The findings point toward a violent assault, reinforcing the theory that Rossi was thrown from the window during a physical altercation.

Commission President Gianluca Vinci stated that the investigation is moving toward a solution. Experts suggest the initial intent may have been intimidation, during which Rossi was potentially held outside the window before losing his grip on the ledge and falling. An additional expert report regarding surveillance footage of an individual entering the vicinity is expected on October 12, which may assist in identifying suspects and establishing a motive.
