DAW SE expands workforce with 25 new apprentices and dual students
Companies in Germany are facing increasing challenges in filling apprenticeship positions due to demographic shifts and evolving expectations from young applicants. Modern trainees prioritize workplace culture, respect, and value alignment over compensation alone.
In response to these trends, DAW SE, an independent family-owned company, has welcomed 25 new apprentices and dual students across four German locations, including Ober-Ramstadt, Köthen, Nerchau, and Gerstungen. The cohort includes 16 apprentices and four dual students specializing in fields such as IT, cyber security, international business administration, and various technical and commercial roles.
Bianca Willms, Head of Talent Acquisition & Retention at DAW, stated that training internal specialists is a vital investment in the company's future, noting that new talent brings fresh perspectives and digital competencies to the organization.
