Dawngazer RPG announced alongside Witcher 3 remaster details

Monochrome and Good Smile Company have announced ‘Dawngazer’, an action RPG scheduled for release in 2028. The project is being developed by Ignisphia Studio, a new studio led by Takashi Noma, a former director and character designer from Vanillaware known for ‘Unicorn Overlord’ and ‘13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim’.

‘Dawngazer’ serves as the inaugural title for the new ‘Ignisphia’ IP brand, which plans to expand into light novels and figures. The game will be available on PS5, PC (Steam), and Nintendo Switch 2. The soundtrack will be composed by Yoshiaki Kudo, who has worked on ‘Elden Ring’.

Separately, CD PROJEKT RED Japan has announced the release date for the remastered version of ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’. The remaster is set to launch on September 29, 2026, at 19:00 JST across PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The Xbox version will support ‘Xbox Play Anywhere’, allowing owners to access the PC version via the Microsoft Store at no additional cost.
