Daayra crime thriller Kareena Kapoor Khan Prithviraj Sukumaran Meghna Gulzar

The makers of the upcoming crime thriller ‘Daayra’ have released a new poster featuring lead actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The poster depicts the two actors standing back-to-back, surrounded by layers of police tape, hinting at a story involving dual perspectives and mystery.

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is inspired by several true events across India. The story follows two protagonists: DCP Ajooni Kohli, played by Kareena Kapoor Khan, and DCP Raman Kumar, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran. This project marks the first on-screen collaboration between the two actors and the first partnership between Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios.

The film’s trailer is scheduled for release on August 31, 2026, with the movie set to hit cinemas in Hindi and Malayalam on September 18, 2026.
