Daytona International Speedway to Host NASCAR's The Clash in 2027

NASCAR announced that the exhibition race known as The Clash will return to Daytona International Speedway for the 2027 Cup Series season opener, ending its two‑year stint at Bowman Gray Stadium. The event is scheduled for February 13, kicking off Speedweeks and leading toward the 69th Daytona 500.

The race will be rebranded the Wheatley Vodka Clash under a new multi‑year agreement that names Wheatley American Vodka the Official Vodka of NASCAR and entitlement partner of the exhibition. Daytona International Speedway President Frank Kelleher said the partnership adds “another can’t‑miss event to an already unforgettable week.” The 2027 Speedweeks schedule also includes season‑opening races for the ARCA Menards Series, NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
