Daytona reaches $1 billion valuation with $60 million Series B

New York-based startup Daytona has raised $60 million in a Series B funding round led by FirstMark Growth, bringing its total funding to $91 million and its valuation to $1 billion. The company provides an ‘Agent Execution Cloud’ specifically designed to support AI agents.

Unlike traditional cloud services that are designed for long-lived applications, Daytona’s infrastructure is built for the unique requirements of AI agents. These agents generate thousands of short, stateful, and often unpredictable tasks that require millisecond-level startup times and the ability to maintain state while remaining isolated. The platform provides computers, browsers, and storage across Linux, Windows, macOS, and GPU sandboxes.

The funding round included participation from high-profile individual investors such as Patrick Collison (Stripe), Tobi Lütke (Shopify), Aravind Srinivas (Perplexity), Eric Yuan (Zoom), and Adam D’Angelo (Quora/OpenAI). Corporate investors included Qualcomm Ventures, Samsung Next, and Okta Ventures. Daytona’s client base includes model developers like Meta and Cohere, as well as companies integrating agents into products, such as Writer, Clay, and Postman.
