DAZN to broadcast over 400 Portuguese basketball games for free
DAZN and the Portuguese Basketball Federation (FPB) have entered into a new agreement for the 2026/27 season. The partnership will provide free access to more than 400 live games across eight major national competitions.
The coverage includes both men's and women's Betclic Leagues, the Portuguese Cups, the Hugo dos Santos Cup, the Federation Cup, and the Mário Saldanha and Women's Supercups. Users can watch these matches for free by creating an account on the DAZN platform without a paid subscription.
While DAZN holds the exclusive rights, an exception exists for home games played by SL Benfica, Sporting CP, and FC Porto, which will continue to be broadcast simultaneously on their respective club channels. The deal aims to reduce fragmentation in sports access and expand the international reach of Portuguese basketball through DAZN's presence in over 200 markets.
