D.CAMP and Murata conclude deep tech startup pitching program
D.CAMP and Korea Murata Electronics have successfully concluded the final private pitching session for the ‘Startup OI Kyoto #Deep Tech’ program. This open innovation initiative is designed to facilitate technical collaboration and business opportunities between South Korean deep tech startups and major Japanese corporations.
Nine startups participated in the program, presenting collaboration models in fields such as mobility, robotics, wellness, healthcare, and semiconductors. The participants proposed ways to integrate Murata’s sensor, communication, and material technologies into their own specialized solutions.
Reprise Robotics, a kitchen automation robotics startup, and Oceans Bio, a developer of electronic medicines for epilepsy treatment, were jointly selected as outstanding companies. Reprise Robotics proposed a model to enhance robot AI learning data accuracy using high-precision motion sensors, while Oceans Bio presented a wearable healthcare model combining AI prediction technology with wellness applications.
D.CAMP and Korea Murata Electronics plan to conduct follow-up technical reviews based on these results, exploring various cooperation methods including proof-of-concept (PoC) trials, technology transfers, licensing, and joint commercialization.
