D.CAMP deep tech startup support initiatives

Overview

D.CAMP has engaged in several initiatives to support the deep tech startup ecosystem. In late September, D.CAMP and Korea Murata Electronics concluded the ‘Startup OI Kyoto #Deep Tech’ program, an open innovation initiative aimed at fostering technical collaboration between South Korean startups and Japanese corporations. The program featured nine startups presenting models in sectors such as robotics, mobility, and healthcare, with Reprise Robotics and Oceans Bio recognized as outstanding companies.

Following this, D.CAMP announced its fourth ‘D-Day’ conference, scheduled for October 29. Under the slogan ‘Paths to Orbit,’ the event will feature seven deep tech CEOs discussing market validation, business expansion, and growth structures. This conference is part of the D.CAMP Batch program, which provides intensive 12-month support, including mentoring and investor networking, to selected startups.
