De l’Oust à Brocéliande launches solidarity vehicle rental for job seekers

The community of De l’Oust à Brocéliande (OBC) signed a three‑year agreement with the nonprofit Néo Mobilité to provide a solidarity vehicle‑sharing scheme aimed at residents who lack transport for job‑search or work‑related travel. The intercommunal authority will contribute €11,500 to fund the service. Néo Mobilité will make two cars and one scooter available at reduced rates – €8 per day or €40 per week for a car, and €5 per day or €20 per week for the scooter – with fuel costs excluded. A security deposit of €300 for a car and €200 for a scooter covers maintenance and insurance.

The programme imposes no age limit; any resident meeting employment‑related criteria may apply. Beyond simply providing the vehicles, Néo Mobilité promises personalized support throughout each beneficiary’s mobility journey. OBC will promote the initiative locally and conduct an annual review with the association to assess performance and adjust the service as needed.
