Dedi Mulyadi delivers Rp4 billion in earthquake aid to NTT

West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi traveled to East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) to deliver approximately Rp4 billion in aid to earthquake victims in Flores, specifically targeting the Manggarai and East Manggarai regencies. The funds, collected through donations from West Java entrepreneurs and the public, are intended to provide essential logistics and support for field volunteer teams during the emergency response period.

While the humanitarian mission was noted, political observer Dedi Kurniansyah criticized the visit as a form of political image-building. The observer suggested that the large team and high costs associated with the trip were inefficient and served to capitalize on the disaster to build a populist image, contrasting the move with other regional leaders who provide aid without such high-profile media presence.
