Deen Castronovo returns to perform with Journey in San Antonio
Journey drummer Deen Castronovo returned to performing with the band on October 10 during a concert at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. His return follows a medical emergency that occurred on October 8 during a performance in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he was taken to the hospital after only two songs.
Castronovo performed a full set, including lead vocals on 'Lights', 'Precious Time', and 'Keep on Runnin'', while also sharing vocal duties with keyboardist Jonathan Cain. Guitarist Neal Schon praised Castronovo’s performance, noting he was 'back in rare form.'
Castronovo expressed gratitude to fans for their support and prayers via social media. The band's Final Frontier Tour is slated to continue through November 28.
