Deep Purple announces new album “Splat!” and 2026 world tour

The classic rock band Deep Purple has announced its 24th studio album, titled Splat!, scheduled for release on July 3, 2024 via earMUSIC. Front‑man Ian Gillan said the new material recaptures “the dynamics, the balance and the fun” of the group’s early work, and the record was produced with veteran Bob Ezrin, known for collaborations with KISS, Pink Floyd and Lou Reed. The album will be issued as a 2‑LP gatefold set with a CD, three exclusive 10‑inch vinyl recordings of live tour performances, and a bonus 7‑inch single.

Alongside the album, Deep Purple has unveiled an extensive world‑tour itinerary that will run for 86 days, covering venues across Europe, North America and beyond. Highlights include a headline show at London’s Royal Albert Hall on 25 November, multiple dates in Finland, Norway, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, the United States, Canada and several other countries. Tickets are already on sale.
