British rock group Deep Purple will release their new studio album SPLAT! on 3 July 2026 through earMUSIC, with pre‑orders now open. Produced by Bob Ezrin, the record is promoted as the band’s heaviest work in years and explores the theme of humanity’s transformation rather than a grim apocalypse. Frontman Ian Gillan says the material feels like a modern version of the band’s classic ’70s output.

A limited‑edition box set is also being sold separately and includes a 2‑LP gate‑fold vinyl, a CD digisleeve, three exclusive 10‑inch vinyl discs featuring live recordings from the 2024 Deep Purple tour, and a 7‑inch single with the bonus track “GUINNESIS”. The band will support the album with an extensive 2026 tour of 86 shows across 28 countries on three continents.
