Deep Purple releases new single ‘Diablo’ ahead of ‘Splat!’ album

Rock band Deep Purple has released the single ‘Diablo’, a preview of their upcoming studio album, ‘Splat!’, scheduled for release on July 3rd via earMUSIC. The track features guest appearance by country music star Keith Urban on second guitar.

Following the previous single ‘Arrogant Boy’, ‘Diablo’ is described as a classic hard rock track driven by riffs and groove. The band’s new guitarist, Simon McBride, noted that the group intended for ‘Splat!’ to be a heavier, more riff-based record compared to their previous release, ‘=1’.

In preparation for the album launch, Deep Purple is scheduled to embark on an extensive world tour covering 86 shows across 28 countries, including a summer run through various European nations before heading to North America.
