Deep Purple releases new single “Diablo” featuring Keith Urban

Deep Purple previewed their upcoming album SPLAT! with the hard‑rock single “Diablo,” which includes a guest guitar part by country star Keith Urban. Front‑man Ian Gillan said the song is about “taking chances” and stepping out of the mold. The track is available for streaming now, and a live performance video has been posted on YouTube.

SPLAT! is scheduled for release on 3 July 2026 and is described as exploring humanity’s transformation rather than outright apocalypse. The band will begin a European tour on 11 June 2026 in Finland, followed by a North‑American run starting 4 August 2026 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
