Defense procurement: Mesko and RTX secure military supply contracts

The Polish Armament Agency has entered into several defense-related procurement agreements involving both domestic and international suppliers.

Mesko, a subsidiary of the Polish Armaments Group, has secured a contract to supply 3,000 units of A-2A28S blank cartridges for 2A28SP-84 saluting guns. The contract, valued at approximately 4.3 million PLN, is scheduled for delivery between 2026 and 2029. The cartridges will be distributed to regional logistics bases in Mosty and Pomiechówek.

Separately, the U.S. Department of Defense has signed a 105.6 million USD agreement with RTX to produce and supply spare parts for the AIM-120 AMRAAM guided missile family. The contract is expected to be completed by August 2027. Poland is among the recipients of these parts through Foreign Military Sales (FMS) procedures, though specific details regarding the Polish portion of the order remain undisclosed. These components are essential for the continued operation of AIM-120 missiles used by Poland's F-16 and F-35 aircraft.
