Poland defense procurement and industry cooperation

Poland is engaging in various defense procurement and technology integration efforts involving both domestic and international partners.

In early September, the Turkish company Aselsan signed a contract with Polish firm AMZ Kutno to supply Arsus reconnaissance and surveillance systems. This agreement, finalized during the MSPO 2026 International Defense Industry Exhibition, expands an existing partnership that integrates these systems into Polish KLR Kleszcz armored reconnaissance vehicles. Aselsan intends to maintain a local presence in Poland to develop technical solutions and cooperate with Polish defense institutions.

By late September, the Polish Armament Agency secured additional contracts. Domestic subsidiary Mesko was awarded a contract to supply 3,000 units of A-2A28S blank cartridges for saluting guns between 2026 and 2029. Concurrently, through Foreign Military Sales procedures, Poland is set to receive spare parts for the AIM-120 AMRAAM guided missile family following a 105.6 million USD agreement between the U.S. Department of Defense and RTX. These components are required for the operation of missiles used by Poland’s F-16 and F-35 aircraft.
