Defense University cadets to mentor 44,000 Sekolah Rakyat students

The Ministry of Social Affairs and the Defense University (Unhan) have signed a cooperation agreement to implement a mentorship program for students at Sekolah Rakyat. Under this initiative, 1,500 Unhan cadets will serve as mentors for approximately 44,000 students ranging from elementary to high school levels.

Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf stated that the program aims to foster character building, discipline, and independence among students, many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds. The cadets will model essential life skills, such as time management, personal hygiene, and organizational habits, to help students adapt to their educational environment.
