Indonesian national defense and character building programs

Overview

Indonesia has initiated several programs involving military and defense personnel to support national discipline and character building. This deployment serves as a follow-up to the inter-ministerial memorandum, supporting President Prabowo Subianto’s strategic program to address poverty and prepare for the ‘Indonesia Emas 2045’ vision. Minister Yusuf emphasized that cadets must act as role models to instill discipline and responsibility in students, particularly those facing challenges in boarding school environments. Deputy Minister Taufanto noted that this collaboration is essential for human resource development and addressing social issues through national unity.
