DEHDE schedules electricity cuts in Attica and Thessaloniki
The Greek power grid operator DEHDE announced planned electricity interruptions on Friday, 17 July, across multiple neighborhoods in the Attica region. Outages will occur at different times between 08:00 and 16:00, affecting streets in municipalities such as Athens, Vari, Piraeus, Chalandri, Kallithea, Alimos, Heraklion, Glyfada, and others. DEHDE advised residents to avoid assuming the supply is off‑grid and to follow safety precautions.
A separate notice details a scheduled outage for Thursday, 16 July, in Thessaloniki. The cut will affect areas including Chalkidona (08:00‑12:30), Ano Koulia (08:00‑14:30), and Epano (08:00‑14:00), with additional impact on nearby roads, water stations and irrigation pumps. Consumers are urged to stay informed via DEHDE’s official channels.
