Delhi Assembly and government offices receive bomb threats

The Delhi Assembly, Sardar Patel Vidyalaya (SPV), and several government offices in New Delhi received bomb threats via email on Tuesday morning. The threats prompted security agencies to activate standard operating procedures and launch extensive anti-sabotage checks at the affected locations.

Emergency response teams, including the Delhi Police, bomb detection and disposal squads, dog units, and the Delhi Fire Services, were deployed to secure and cordon off the premises. As of the latest reports, officials stated that no suspicious objects or indications of a security threat have been found during the searches.

Authorities have launched an investigation to trace the source of the emails. This incident follows a series of similar security concerns in the capital, including bomb threats received by the Delhi High Court and other locations in mid-August.
