Delhi security alert following multiple bomb threats FAST-MOVING

Multiple bomb threats were reported across Delhi on Friday, August 14, just one day before India's Independence Day celebrations. The threats, delivered via email and phone calls, targeted several high-profile locations, including the Delhi High Court, the Red Fort, and Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Other locations placed under security alert included Jam Nagar House, the Jhandewalan Flatted Factory Complex, the District Magistrate's office in Saket, and the SDM office in Delhi Cantonment. The threatening email sent to the Delhi High Court specifically mentioned a blast at 2:11 PM on August 15 and included allegations regarding the treatment of Sikhs in legal cases.

Security agencies, including the Delhi Police, bomb disposal squads, and the Delhi Fire Service, conducted extensive searches and sanitization operations at all affected sites. As of the latest reports, authorities have stated that nothing suspicious has been found at any of the locations, and the situation remains under control.
