Delhi Development Authority holds meetings for Master Plan 2047
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has conducted a series of stakeholder meetings to ensure the effective implementation of the ‘Master Plan for Delhi 2047’ (MPD 2047). These discussions, held under the direction of Lieutenant Governor and DDA Chairman TS Sandhu, represent the second and third rounds of consultations aimed at fostering inclusive participation.
The third meeting focused on heritage conservation, involving architects, Delhi Tourism, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), and the Ministry of Culture. Previous sessions included various civic and service agencies such as the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), Delhi Jal Board, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), and the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC).
Other participating entities included the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Delhi Police, and various departments of the Government of NCT of Delhi, including Public Works (PWD), Electricity, and Forest departments. The DDA used these sessions to brief stakeholders on the core provisions of the MPD 2047.
