DDA launches affordable housing scheme in Narela

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched the Awas Nivesh Yojana 2026, offering 2,516 Low Income Group (LIG) flats in the Narela area of Delhi. To mark the occasion of Dussehra, the authority is providing a 25 per cent discount on the properties, with tentative prices starting at approximately Rs 14.95 lakh.

The flats are located in Pockets 3 and 6 of Sectors G2–G6. Of the total units, 1,020 are in Pocket 3 and 1,496 are in Pocket 6, each featuring an approximate plinth area of 49.90 square metres. Allotment is being conducted on a ‘First Come, First Serve’ (FCFS) basis through an online booking process to ensure transparency.

Narela is positioned as an emerging residential hub due to planned infrastructure, including an upcoming Delhi Metro station on the Rithala–Narela–Kundli Metro Corridor, a proposed Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) station, and improved road connectivity via Urban Extension Roads (UER-I and UER-II). The area is also slated to host an Education Hub and various sports complexes.
